Yard and Coop have just opened on Merrion Street and if you like fried chicken it’s THE place to be! Offering a wide range of food from ‘Dr Pepper BBQ drumsticks’ to their ‘winner winner chicken dinner’ large plate, honestly they are the holy grail of buttermilk-fried chicken in Leeds! I would highly recommend their ‘Buff Daddy’ burger and ‘Double Mac’ burger, which instead of being inside a bun, comes inside a mac-n-cheese sandwich... need I say more?
DOUGH IN THE CITY
Dough in the City have just released their new menu, featuring mouthwatering options such as buttermilk and sirracha fried chicken and cauliflower bhaji for their starters (the bhaji I highly recommend!) as well as 24 hour braised ox cheek with truffle mash and my personal favourite the dough katsu curry which was so fresh and flavorsome.
Last week, Love Leeds revealed that the Brunswick were launching a new burger menu. Since then, we have been down to sample the food for ourselves. The verdict? It’s some seriously good eats.

After the Lamb and Flag’s recent refurb I was fortunate enough to be invited to sample their updated menu and to have a look around the venue to see the changes that had been made. With its cosy, relaxed vibe this country pub right in the heart of the city allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of the town centre.
