Following a shock closure on Merrion Street, Leeds favourite Bar Soba has returned with a brand new home on Greek Street.
Last month it re-opened in the former Bem Brasil restaurant which is undergoing a exciting and vibrant transformation.
The new location sits right in the heart of the city’s office district where you find amazing lunch deal offers throughout the week and, for the weekend, guests can treat themselves to Soba’s infamous boozy brunches.
The ground floor transformation sees the bar decked out with Geisha-style graffiti painted by talented local artists. An eleven-metre cocktail bar is being installed downstairs which will serve up cutting-edge cocktail creations and the best Asian and continental beers.
You will also find an integrated DJ booth with a seriously impressive Void Acoustics sound-system to guarantee the same sonic excellence you’d expect in the world’s best super clubs.
Venture upstairs and find a 60-cover restaurant where you can sample the tastes from South East Asia as the chefs have created a menu that offers a twist on classic Asian street food.
The menu will have dishes like (our personal favourite) cheeseburger spring rolls and a beautifully tasty buttermilk fried chicken katsu curry.
We highly recommend you try the Bottomless Brunch. Available every Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3pm you can enjoy a delicious brunch with free-flowing drinks from a selection of Prosecco, Cocktails or Bottled Beers for only £25pp!
For parties of more than 6 guests, please contact them directly at [email protected] to check availability and book. A deposit may be required to secure a table.
Personally we think the new location far better suits what Bar Soba has to offer and this the perfect addition to the vibrant Greek Street scene.
